[singlepic id=204 w=320 h=240 float=right][singlepic id=203 w=320 h=240 float=right]Apologies for not being available to lead the Nightjar evening at Goathurst Common last night (many thanks to Jeff for stepping in so ably!), but we had an opportunity to go to the British Grand Prix Qualifying day at Silverstone yesterday, which we thoroughly enjoyed, despite the weather and the mud! We stopped off at Watlington, on the M40 on the way home from Silverstone, and had the most amazing views of Red Kites flying over our heads in the Car Park. We must have counted at least 12 birds at very close range.

Brilliant photos Ian! They really must have been flying just over your heads.
