Gravesend RSPB Local Group is moving to a new evening venue in January 2014.
In future our evening talks will take place at Northfleet School for Girls, Hall Rd, Northfleet, DA11 8AQ.
Meetings will be on Thursdays starting at the slightly earlier time of 7.30pm.
Entry will be £3.50 with refreshments. Parking is free.
Our talks cover a wide range of interesting nature topics and full details will be in the 2014 programme, The guest speakers at our first two meetings are:
- Thursday January 9th: Peter & Pauline Heathcote will tell us about the exciting wildlife of ‘Belize’.
- Thursday February 13th: David Hassel will take us ‘On the Texas Trail’ to show us the wonderful wildlife of Central America.
Please do come along and support us at this new venue which we hope will be a good, comfortable base for our future Group meetings. Everyone is welcome.
Our Tuesday afternoon meetings will continue to be held at the Woodville Halls, Gravesend. Entry £2.50 – sorry no refreshments. The first event at the Woodville Halls will be on Tuesday 28th January at 2pm, and Chris Ward’s talk is entitled ‘Waders, waders, everywhere’.
