Well actually I do. Ever since I started bird watching at Cliffe Pools back in the 1970s the Hen Harrier has been my top bird of prey. Now the breeding numbers of this magnificent bird are in steep decline. The conservation societies know how to care for this species – but the evidence suggests that persecution ie shooting is at the heart of the decline.
