You will remember that a few weeks ago Sue organised a beach clean along the Thames shore at the Rainham RSPB reserve in Essex. We removed bags and bags of mainly plastic waste – bottles, carrier bags and just about everything else. We did a good job. But just look at this video of plastics on the sea bed – even in the most remote and deepest of the sea bed trenches. We must be able to do better than this.
