The BTO are looking for people to carry out a survey of non-estuarine waterbirds.

The survey of 2km stretches of coastline finishes on the 31st January 2016. So if you have some spare time, and are interested in taking part follow the link here. The website will put you in touch with the survey organisers so you can choose an area to survey.
The purpose is to survey those bird populations which are not covered in the WeBS and other bird counts.
