The proposed Lower Thames Crossing Consultation is now out.   This gives everyone the opportunity to have their say about the proposals.   The impacts of any development will give uncertainty, but in such a precious habitat as the North Kent and South Essex Marshes with its unique species it is vital that all points are considered.   The affect of traffic emissions on our air quality and noise pollution in what is currently a relatively rural edge to Gravesend should also be considered.

So, please have your say by following the link below.

Lower Thames Crossing Consultation

With the Swanscombe Marshes development it makes further encroachment onto these marsh land habitats even more disastrous.

  1. I live in Chalk and am absolutely horrified at these proposals, which both my husband and I have objected to, most strongly. I know we have RSPB and CPRE o. Our side, but we need all the help we can get to protect this environmentally sensitive area.
