Jenny Gibb, Chairman – North West Kent Local Group, Kent Wildlife Trust, usually comes to our indoor talks and often runs an “advert” for her meetings. Unfortunately Jenny missed our last meeting so she has asked me to pass on this message. As I know that some of you like to go to these meetings I am very happy to do so. The speaker, Simon Ginnaw, is well known to us as a speaker and he has also led our two recent “Bat walks” in Mote Park Maidstone. Recommended! But don’t forget to come to our own Social Evening on Thursday 8th December.

Dear Gravesend RSPB supporter
North West Kent Local Group of Kent Wildlife Trust – Tuesday 6 December
We would like to invite you to our last indoor meeting of the year, on Tuesday 6 December at 7.30pm, for an audiovisual presentation by Simon Ginnaw on ‘Birds Beyond the Boughs’.
Simon is a local naturalist, tutor and tour leader who has visited us several times before and whose presentations are always very much enjoyed by our group. This time he will look at the secret lives of our woodland and garden birds.
Our venue is the Mick Jagger Centre, Dartford Grammar School for Boys, Shepherds Lane, Dartford DA1 2JZ.
There is plenty of room to park, and our room is on the first floor just above the entrance, next to the lift. Please follow our signs or ask the friendly Reception staff for directions.
The meeting starts at 7.30pm and, as it is our pre-Christmas meeting, the interval refreshments will include mince pies.
We finish by 10pm. (Entrance and refreshment donations are appreciated.) We hope you can join us.
With my best wishes for the season,
Jenny Gibb
Chairman, North West Kent Local Group, Kent Wildlife Trust
