Redpolls

I received an email from Stuart Roumana who asks:
” Is anyone aware of there being lots of Redpoll around? We have had a small group in our Medway garden for 2 weeks or so and have counted a maximum of seven birds, two of which are splendid males. They are very busy birds and also pretty fearless!”
Has anyone else seen Redpolls in our area this winter?
