Our winter indoor programme resumes on Thursday, 12 September at Northfleet School for Girls.

The presentation will be “Sri Lanka” by Jonathan Forgham. A brand new talk on the wonderful and special wildlife of Sri Lanka.

The meeting will start at 07:30pm and will finish at 09:45pm.

Due to an awards ceremony being held at the school, we shall be using an alternative hall, HS23, in the Health and Social block of NSfG.
Therefore, please note the following alterations for the evening.

  1. Use the ‘B’ entrance, not the usual ‘A’ entrance, to access the school car parking
  2. Drive all the way to end of the school buildings, turn right, continue for another 50 yards and park  at  the  rear  of  the  building  as  shown  here:
  3. Enter the block via the  door  in  the  corner  of  the  building,  as  indicated  by  the  green   arrow  in   the  photo  below:
  4. Use the stairs or the small lift to go to the hall on the first floor
  5. Don’t worry we will be there to direct you!

Admission to all our indoor meetings is £3.50 for members including refreshments during the interval. Non-members will be charged £4.50 but their first indoor meeting will be free if they join the Group.

Our meetings are open to all. If you have not been before, please come along and introduce yourself – you will be made very welcome!

  1. An excellent evening spent in the company of Jonathan , whose enthusiam for Sri Lanka shone through in bucket loads. His knowledge of this fascinating place is outstanding and the help that he has given to the local community, especially Rajah, has to be commended. Also, a special mention to our members that contributed to MindGarden – a charitable organization set up to help the local population, especially for IT and laptops.
