We’ve been hearing about potential building development at Conyer for years.   It seems it is now moving forward with an application for 24 dwellings together with associated infrastructure, open space, landscaping, access works and bird viewing tower.

The area has breeding turtle dove and nightingale, along with a host of other species which are there because it has been undisturbed for so long. It is an area of high biodiversity.

There is no formal campaign set up yet, but a group are forming.   In the meantime, if you want to let Swale Council and Mid-Kent Planning Support have your opinion on this, please follow the link below.   Be sure to do so before 24th June, 2020, when the comments will close.   If you feel strongly against it you should tick the “object” box.
