This year our Christmas social is to be held virtually via a Zoom meeting with all the festive fun we have enjoyed in previous years.
Date: Thursday 10 December. Starting from 7:30pm.
We will have a light hearted quiz, a game of picture bingo as well as photo and Christmas jumper competitions. Plus plenty of time for a natter and catch up as well as eating and drinking your ‘bring your own’ beverages and Christmas food!
For the photography competition, please submit your photo by email before 9pm on Wednesday 9th December. The theme of the competition is AUTUMN. Send them to groupleader@rspbgravesend.org.uk. You can submit up to three entries per person.
As we will be using Zoom to host our talks for at least the first three months in 2021 and using the event management site Eventbrite to help us with this, we are using Eventbrite for our Christmas social as well.
The event is free, simply register by clicking the link below to order your ‘ticket’.
If you have not used Eventbrite before, you will need to register with them – it is free, quick and easy – you can do it at the same time as you apply for the social ticket and you can decline to receive promotional emails.
Eventbrite will send you a ticket with an exclusive link to our event webpage. ON the day of the social this will have the link to our meeting. You will get email reminders as well. Simply click the meeting link on the date and time of the meeting to join the fun.
Note also, if you have managed to survive the lockdowns so far without Zoom on your tablet, mobile or computer – I’d suggest you download this in advance and ensure your video and audio settings are all working.
