Arrangements have been finalised for our first coach trip of 2022 and we are pleased to announce the details:
Minsmere is a lovely reserve comprising woodland, heathland, coast and pools full of wildlife. We hope to see terns and avocets feeding their young, marsh harriers, hobbies, bearded tits and possibly bitterns and otter in the reed bed pools. The reserve has hides, trails, and a good visitor centre with cafeteria.
The coach will leave Gravesend Railway Station, Clive Rd, Gravesend, at 8.00 am and leave Minsmere at about 4.30 pm.
Please take your RSPB membership card if you are a member. Note there is an entry charge for those who are not RSPB members of £9.00.
Tickets are £21.00 each and are available at Group meetings OR
Make cheques payable to Gravesend RSPB Local Group and send, enclosing sae please, to Hazel at 10 Nursery Road, Meopham, Kent, DA13 0NF (01474 812626).
Please pay for tickets before the trip as the coach has to be paid for in advance.
