Knole Park

Yesterday the group visited Knole Park near Sevenoaks. Redstart and Tree
Pipit were the order of the day and some fine broad bodied chasers were
seen at this pond. A new member joined our group but she left us when we
pointed out that we had left our picnic lunches back in the car park.

make your nature count!

Don't forget this week is the RSPB's "Make your Nature Count" week.

Basically, the RSPB would like you to tell them what crawls, hops, flutters and flies in your garden this summer!

To take part, simply spend one hour during the week of 8-14 June, counting the birds and any other wildlife that visit your garden, and record the highest number of each species you see at any one time.

Outdoor Meeting - Coach trip Wickham Fen NT

I'm sure you don't need reminding that the coach trip is this Saturday, 6th June.
Please be outside the Woodville Halls, Gravesend, in plenty of time for the coach which is due to leave at 8am.
