One good tern (raft) deserves another

The Thursday team of volunteers built and launched a second tern raft at Cliffe last week. Unfortunately, there were a few buoyancy issues resulting in some comments from passing birdwatchers such as " 'ere mate, yer rafts sinkin"  and  "Gone-Tiki, eh,  ha ha ha".

So this week, our intrepid volunteers have been re-adjusting buoyancy tanks and re-balancing the tonnes of gravel and the result is a level platform on which any self-respecting tern with a pilot's license could land on a sixpence.
