We had a trip to Pegwell Bay today, from where there had been reports of up to 500 Waxwings during the week. We managed to find some quite easily – we counted about 30-40 this morning which were moving around the trees and bushes in search of hawthorn berries.
There were also large numbers of blackbirds and several redwings.

Lovely pictures, Ian. I must get out and find some waxwings of my own!
Great photos Ian, well done and lucky you for catching up with Waxwings – I’m still trying!
