You may remember the same request last year.  Jim and Clare volunteered and have had a great time seeing lots of birds of prey, including Black kite, and many other species along the way.

Can you identify Kestrels, Red kites and Buzzards and do you love walking?

The Hawk Conservancy are once again seeking volunteers to carry out a set of 10k transects.   Five to ten transects each (depending on how many volunteers) to be carried out between Feb-May and Sep-Dec this year. Full training and equipment would be given, but you must have own binoculars.

They are looking for people to fill gaps in Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Bucks.   Your findings will contribute to the valuable work on population density of these species. 2 volunteers from each of those counties would be amazing.

Please contact if you can help out.
Many thanks.
